To successfully migrate data from your organization's Google Drive, you need to have your administrator set up trust for the ShareGate migration tool import app by adding it to the Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) allowlist.
Note: The ShareGate migration tool can only support migrations from Google Drive users that are part of a Google Workspace organization.
How-To
- Access your Google Admin console.
- Select Security in the sidebar.
- Expand Access and data control.
- Select API controls.
- Verify that Trust internal, domain-owned apps is checked.
- Click on MANAGE THIRD-PARTY APP ACCESS.
- Select Add app from the top menu.
- Select OAuth App Name Or Client ID from the dropdown.
- Copy-paste the line below in the Search for OAuth app name or client id field.

- Click Search.
- Select ShareGate migration tool (it should be the only result).
- Select 863730239928-vtuvc0acvjg4va13mu8svrns63n2k148.apps.googleusercontent.com in the Configure an app screen.
- Click Select.
- Select Trusted: Can access all Google services for the App access.
- Click Configure.
- ShareGate migration tool should now figure in your Configured apps list.
- Click on API Controls in the breadcrumb menu at the top
- Click on MANAGE DOMAIN WIDE DELEGATION in the bottom of the page.
- Select Add new from the top menu.
- Copy and paste the Client ID and OAuth scopes below.
