ShareGate provides limited or full support for your migrations depending on the version of SharePoint.

Full support
You can use fully supported versions of SharePoint for migrations at the source and destination, and you can run most of the migration tool reports on them.
The following versions of SharePoint are fully supported:
- SharePoint Foundation 2010
- Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
- Microsoft 365
- OneDrive for Business
- SharePoint Online
- SharePoint Foundation 2013
- SharePoint 2013
- SharePoint 2016
- SharePoint 2019
- SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE)
Note: You need service pack 1 or higher to run Source analysis on SharePoint 2010.
Limited support
Support may be limited for legacy products that are past the end of their Microsoft support lifetime.
The following cannot be used as the destination with the Copy Structure and content feature.
- SharePoint 2003 (or Windows SharePoint Services 2.0)
- SharePoint 2007 (or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0)
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)
- Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS)
The reporting feature is not supported for the following versions of SharePoint:
- SharePoint 2003 (or Windows SharePoint Services 2.0)
- SharePoint 2007 (or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0)

Support for other systems
The ShareGate migration tool offers limited support for the following systems:
File share
Can be used as the source when migrating to a SharePoint destination. You can also perform a Source analysis and Download content action.
Google Workspace Drive
Can be used as the source when migrating to a SharePoint destination.
Box.com
Can be used as the source when migrating to a SharePoint destination. This feature is only available in PowerShell.
